Covid-19 Studio Protocol

To ensure the safety of all our members and staff,  we expect you to use the sanitizers provided when entering and exiting the studio and to maintain 6 feet of distance until you reach your mat or Reformer. We are also requesting that all in-studio members wear foot coverings which will need to be disinfected once you reach your mat, with the disinfectant that we will supply. (FYI, we do sell TOESOX brand within the studio, these are not mandatory but are recommended, given the grips on the bottom of the sox).

Face Coverings – Masks
We will continue to follow all government recommended health guidelines with regards to face coverings. We can appreciate that wearing a face covering during exercise may not be possible for many individuals, but at this time, we ask that as you enter and move throughout the studio, that you wear a face covering ( i.e. to use the bathroom, mid class or after class). Once you have arrived at your mat or Reformer, you are welcome to remove your face covering for the duration of the class unless you need to leave your mat. Once class has concluded, we ask that you wear your face covering while exiting the studio.

Reduced Studio Class Size / Staggered class times
Our studio has reduced all class sizes to ensure a guaranteed minimum of 6 feet of personal distance. We have also scheduled classes in a manner to ensure that there will be no member/staff overlap.  To assist us in achieving no overlap,
we ask that you arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled class.  If you arrive earlier than 5 minutes before, kindly wait in your vehicle until the appropriate time to enter the studio.

Hands Off Corrections
For your safety and ours, we will teach using verbal cues only and will continue to provide modifications, progressions, adjustments, and corrections verbally, during classes.

Equipment Usage and Class Modifications
To ensure your safety, we may be limiting the use of some ancillary equipment and small props. If you have a reformer towel and a set of your own Reformer loops, you are welcome to bring them to class. Please leave all other personal equipment at home. Towels and water bottles are permitted.

Resistance Band Policy – Bring Your Own
Due to the difficulty in keeping resistance bands sanitized, you must BRING YOUR OWN BAND, to any in-studio ‘Mat with Props’ class that you participate in (this way, should the instructor choose to use the band as the class prop, you’ll be prepared).  If you do not have a band of your own, they are available for purchase for $5.

Studio & Equipment Sanitization
At the end of each class, members will be instructed to clean any equipment that they used.  Following each class, staff will sanitize studio spaces according to our enhanced cleaning procedures. Length of classes and time in-between, will be adjusted as needed to allow staff adequate time to sanitize the studio spaces.

Additionally, we require you to complete a waiver that will be kept on file, which states your willing participation in the studio, as long as you are healthy and are willing to adhere to our new studio policies and social distancing protocols.
